The Department of Movement Sciences invites applications for course instructors for physical activity classes. 

The positions will remain open until filled; for best consideration, materials for Spring 2012 term should be received by January 19, 2012. Applicants may also be hired for future semesters.


PEB 108 (s) Swimming pool activities (1 cr.).  Includes Beginning through Advanced Swimming, Water sports (water polo, diving, etc.), Water Aerobics, and Deep Water Conditioning.

Minimum qualifications for skill classes are  
         a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in the specific skill OR appropriate certification to teach in the skill area

Preferred qualifications for skill classes are
         an earned Bachelorís degree in health & exercise, dance, recreation, physical education, or related area
         a minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in the specific skill AND appropriate certification to teach in the skill area

Reporting Dates:  January 19, 2012 or start of later semesters over a one-year period.  (May 2012, August 2012, etc.).  Our intent is to create a pool to draw from as needed during this period.
