9-month-Academic year, full-time, tenure track
STARTING DATE: Fall Semester 2012 or earliest date possible.
Teach Food and Nutrition degree program courses, including the basic nutrition course. Collaborate with Food and Nutrition faculty to develop, deliver, and assess coursework. Participate in Coordinated Program in Dietetics steering committee. Maintain current CADE knowledge and competency requirements in program courses. Conduct scholarly activity and disseminate results to academic and professional audiences. Advise undergraduate and graduate students. Obtain extramural funding. Contribute to Family and Consumer Sciences undergraduate and graduate program development.Provide service to the university and professional organizations.
- Doctorate in nutrition, dietetics, or related discipline.
- ABD applicants must have degree requirements completed at time of hire.
- Registered Dietitian or eligible within six months of hire

- Classroom teaching experience at the college or university level

SCHOOL OF FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCES
The School of Family and Consumer Sciences provides programs in instruction, research, and extension. The School offers Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees. Undergraduate majors include: Child Family and Consumer Studies programs in Child Development/Family Relations, Family Life, and Family and Consumer Sciences Education; Clothing, Textiles, and Design; and Food and Nutrition, including an accredited Coordinated Program in Dietetics. Enrollment is over 350 undergraduate majors and 25 graduate students. The School has 16 tenure-track positions located in Moscow, and Boise, Idaho, and Spokane, Washington.
